I only use Zoom to hold the sessions. You can choose to have the cameras turned on (video call) or, if you'd prefer, the cameras turned off (audio call) — the audio session is cheaper.
Life coaching
We don't talk about the past in coaching; instead we look to the future and how to get there.
Living your best life
Just like a sports coach helps to keep their players on track with improving their game, so a life coach helps to keep their client on track with living their best life. It can be hard to make changes to our routines and it's easy to slip into old habits. This is where I can help! Life coaching can help you implement your ideas and insights.
Of course you can do it on your own, but if you find yourself struggling with maintaining consistency with your new habits/routines, having a life coach by your side to hold you accountable, cheer you on when you're doing well, challenge you appropriately to develop your skills more and help you identify obstacles that are holding you back will certainly help.
Just want to feel better?
Are you fed up of talking and thinking about a traumatic event and just want to feel better? This is where coaching can help, because we don't talk about the past in coaching; instead we look to the future and how to get there. I help you develop and improve your will power and better understand where you might be struggling.
This is especially important for people who are experiencing PTSD/cPTSD as well as neurodivergent individuals, such as people with ADHD who often struggle with consistency and feeling overwhelmed. If you can relate and you feel like you are waiting for your life to finally start, or perhaps you feel like a guest star in the TV show that is your life, know that coaching with me can help!
Whether you're seeking tools for daily mindfulness, personalized coaching for your personal development or navigating the unique challenges of trauma recovery, I'm here to support you.
I appreciated my sessions with Mel because it opened up doors that I never thought were there. I feel I have more control over my future. Mel has been a guiding light through my journey. Mel made the hard part easy and was with me, every step of the way

Counselling holds space for you to talk about and process what's happened — to be heard and understood, without judgement. Coaching doesn't talk about the past; instead we look to the future and how to get there. Counselling allows insights to drop, and coaching is a method of making those insights a living reality.
Yes. Everything shared is confidential, including what's written in emails, what is spoken of in the sessions and any audio content created. Confidentiality works both ways in our work together — I ask that you share nothing online. By purchasing sessions you are agreeing to this confidentiality agreement.
No. Some people don't want to talk about the past, as it would re-traumatise them. In coaching we don't talk about the past; we look to the future and how to get there.
